Biennial Craft Studio Residents Exhibition

The demands and traditions of textiles, ceramics, jewellery and glass, the four media areas in the craft studios create necessarily diverse artwork. John Armstrong curates an exhibition of current residents of the Harbourfront Centre Craft Studio, as well as the work of seven additional artists and designers. The curatorial intent, in part, is to dissolve the importance of each media by linking the content and formal concerns of each work, while at the same time exploring the diversity of production.
