Call For Submissions - The New Wave
Toronto Image Works is calling for submissions for a group show during CONTACT 2004.

We are looking for up and coming photo-based artists, who are fairly new on the exhibition scene, but who show a sophistication in their style and thinking. Technique is also paramount. The exhibition will be made up of 5-7 artists. Submit work by Sunday, February 29, 2004

Submissions to include:

Resume/CV with contact information (including e-mail address and phone #);
CD or 10 slides;
CD or slide list and artist statement;
Return envelope with postage or call TIW to pick up;
Image size to fit 16 x 20 frames which will be provided by TIW for duration of show.
For continuity, the show will be framed in 16 x 20 ready made frames with conservation glass and matt, with simple black profile.
If artists choose to produce their slides or cd at Toronto Image Works we offer 10% off plus, a reduced rate of $8.00 prepaid for darkroom time.

Toronto Image Works offers gallery hours for viewing public as follows:
Monday to Thursdays 8am to 10pm
Fridays 8am to 7pm
Saturdays 10am to 6pm
Sundays 12 Noon to 5pm

All proceeds from sales of work during the show will go to the artists.
