Edmonton International Film Festival Seeks General Manager

The Edmonton International Film Festival is celebrating its 18th year in
Edmonton and is poised to enter an exciting new phase of development.
The Film Festival is seeking a General Manager to help drive and direct it.

Duties to include management of the day-to-day activities of the festival,
hiring and management of staff, fundraising and grant writing, as well as
acting as a liaison with the Board of Directors. They are also required to
work in collaboration with Festival Programmers and have an ability to build
and maintain a strong festival team.

Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have a minimum three years experience in a Senior
Management position with an Arts or Non-profit organization.
Interest in and knowledge of film and the Canadian film industry an asset.
Festival experience is also an asset.

Contract Tentative Start date: Monday, March 15th, 2004

Salary: This is yearly contract position.
