Pl@tform is a new initiative designed to provide emerging
interactive digital media content producers with the tools they need
to create new proprietary market-driven interactive digital media
content.

Successful pl@tform applicants will receive financial assistance of
up to $30,000, access to distribution through an Internet portal,
access to a series of workshops designed to enhance business skills
and industry knowledge, attendance at Canada's most important
interactive content festival (one per company), and guidance from an
industry veteran who will act as a mentor. Five companies will be
selected to participate in the first cycle of the program that will
take place from January to September 2004.

Pl@tform is open to Canadian-owned, Ontario-based companies with
limited experience creating proprietary content. Companies must be
able to demonstrate a genuine interest in creating proprietary
content as a component of their future business strategy.

Interested companies are required to submit an application to NMBA
by 5 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2004. A jury of industry experts will review
the applications and the five successful teams will be notified
within approximately four weeks of the deadline.
