Studio Art Faculty Openings in the School of Fine Art and Music, University of Guelph
The University of Guelph, School of Fine Art and Music invites applications for two full-time, contractually limited faculty appointments in Studio Art, at the rank of Assistant Professor for a period of two years, commencing July 1, 2004. The positions are renewable.
a) Visual Studies. Duties will include providing leadership to, and teaching in studio foundations courses (Visual Studies) and carrying out assigned duties related to committees and other service within the school. Course load is five courses per year. Minimum qualifications for the position are an M.F.A. or equivalent, significant exhibition record and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Previous experience at teaching in foundations level studio art will be considered as an asset.
b) Drawing. Duties will include teaching in studio art drawing courses and carrying out assigned duties related to committees and other service within the school. Course load is five courses per year. Minimum qualifications for the position are an M.F.A. or equivalent, significant exhibition record and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
