The Anti-Racism Coordinator is a member of a team responsible for
providing leadership to senior officials in municipal governments,
school boards and community organizations on issues related to
anti-racism and multiculturalism. The Anti-Racism Coordinator is
responsible for managing, monitoring and evaluating initiatives
and projects designed to prevent and reduce racism; plans and
undertakes anti-racism research activities and fosters awareness
of racism issues and prevention strategies.
Qualifications - Post Secondary education in social science,
humanities, and/or related field or an equivalent combination of
education and experience, preferably three to five years. Experience
in project/program development, implementation and management
designed to promote a cross-cultural understanding with a focus on
diversity, anti-racism and prevention strategies. Demonstrated
experience in a government environment preparing briefing notes and
issue papers. Experience in planning and developing research
strategies using various research methodologies. Experience in
managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and a high volume of
work in a fast paced environment. Experience with contract
management and development of project proposal and dealing with
external stakeholders in the public and private sector.

Salary: $46,478.35 - $53,184.34
