Philippine Women Centre celebrates International Women's Day

What is "Product of the Philippines: Made in Canada?"

Product of the Philippines: Made in Canada, a political fashion show, is a
groundbreaking production that exposes the oppression of Filipino women by
using fashion in an inspiring and artistic way-and right in time for
International Women's Day!

Those who attend this unique production will be overwhelmed by a symphony of
the senses for the vivid splendour of the stylistic pieces will be
accompanied by theatre, song, dance and poetry.
Product of the Philippines: Made in Canada is the first of its kind fashion
show for the Filipino community in Vancouver.

An initiative of the Philippine Women Centre of B.C., Product of the Philippines: Made in Canada will take place at the Capri Hall, 3925 Fraser St.,
(at King Edward Ave.) on Friday March 6, 2004, 6pm.
