FESTIVAL ADMINISTRATOR
CONTACT Toronto Photography Association, a not-for-profit organization, is accepting applications for the full time position of Festival
Administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with planning and coordination of annual festival, including magazine publishing and website development
- Responsible for online festival registration, registrant communication & image submissions
- Updates and maintains website and mailing lists
- Manages data conversion for festival publications
- Maintains accounts payable and receivable, assists with budgets & year-end
- Prepares financial reports and minutes for Board of Directors
- Assists with grant applications and reports
- Coordinates distribution and delivery of printed matter
- Handles event ticketing in advance and onsite
- Responsible for general office administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication, writing, editing and organizational skills
- Thorough attention to detail with ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel and Photoshop
- Experience with financial management and tracking budgets
- Knowledge of contemporary art and photography
- Experience working in an arts organization and a degree in the arts or equivalent
- Previous experience with web design and bookkeeping (Quickbooks) an asset
Full time position, starting immediately. Reporting to the Festival Director. Must be available to meet demands of periodic intense activity, including some evenings and weekends.
