Families from the Richmond community are invited to join artists and art educators in a conversation about community engaged art and to share personal experiences of living in China/ Hong Kong and Canada.

The five artist-researchers are conducting a study titled "The City of Rich Gate: Research and creation within community engaged arts practices". This project focuses on issues of living between two cultures, in two geographical locations, and identifies personal stories of movement and migration. The artist-researchers wish to work with five intergenerational families from Richmond on a community based creative project. This talk is an opportunity to share the project's vision in more depth and to gather interest in families who may wish to contribute by being part of this unique Richmond study.
