Music of the Endless Sky...a celebration of intercultural music...

The Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra (VICO) together with the Laudate Singers will present a concert of original inter-cultural works on October 30, 2004. Entitled Music of the Endless Sky, the concert will feature the production of Moshe Denburg's work Rapprochements (Reconciliations), a 40 minute work for inter-cultural orchestra and choir. The concert program will also include Kusumamaya - a Tabla Concerto by Niel Golden, Dragon Dogs for 2 Zhengs and western instruments by Randy Raine-Reusch and Mei Han, and breathtaking a capella songs of diverse cultures by Laudate. This collaboration between Laudate and the VICO represents their ongoing commitment to the exciting new art of inter-cultural composition and performance.
