NSI NATIONAL EXPOSURE DEADLINE IS DAYS AWAY

Winnipeg - There's still time to enter a five-minute movie in the National
Screen Institute - Canada (NSI) National Exposure Amateur Movie Contest.
But budding Canadian* filmmakers need to be quick - the deadline for
submissions (January 14, 2005) is just around the corner.

The NSI National Exposure Amateur Movie Contest 2005 is the perfect excuse
to dust off the video camera, round up willing friends and bring a movie
idea to life - filmmakers can even burn off their seasonal excess in the
process! The contest is free to enter and open to aspiring filmmakers of
all ages.

Finalists' movies will grace the big screen at The Globe Cinema in Winnipeg
during NSI FilmExchange Canadian Film Festival on March 5, 2005.

NSI National Exposure contestants have a shot at cash prizes ($100, $500 or
$1000) and prestigious award titles such as Best Director, Best Actor, Best
Screenplay, Best Film from Manitoba and Best Film Under 18. Two new award
categories have been introduced this year: Best Film from Western Canada and
Best Film from Eastern Canada+.
