Call For Submissions - What's Your Pleasure?

Steam Whistle Brewing Gallery is calling for submissions for a group show for September 2005. The opening will fall during Toronto ArtsWeek.

Submit proposals by: Friday July 8th, 2005.

Submission to Include:
CV with contact information (including e-mail and phone number).
7 images of past works
Artist statement
Proposed piece(s) description.

* All pieces must be 2-Dimensional and able to be hung.
** Artists can submit more then one proposal.

The Steam Whistle Gallery hosts monthly art shows in our Retail & Hospitality area in an effort to support local creative talent. Although many are established artists, some exhibitors are showing for the first time. Steam Whistle does not charge rent for our gallery space, nor do we take commission on any works that sell. At the close of each show, the artist donates one piece of their choice to our collection - an arrangement generally agreeable to all.

For the month of September we will be curating/hosting our own exhibition. The theme for this show is "What's Your Pleasure?" Steam Whistle is very proud of our quality product, while maintaining a fun outlook on life. Beer - and so many other things - bring us pleasure.

What's Your Pleasure?
