ArtsWeek KickOff Party

Hosted by Breakfast Television’s Kevin Frankish, with words from Mayor David Miller at noon. Don’t miss this one day art extravaganza that launches ArtsWeek 05.

The event features two stages of music, dance and spoken word – with performances by The Canadian Tenors, Justin Rutledge, Andy Stochansky, Arabesque Dance Company, Lori Cullen, AfroPan, Priya Thomas, Tapestry New Opera Works, Mi Young Kim Dance Company, Kate Rogers, Andy Kim, cast from UMOJA, Storytellers School of Canada and more.

Over 100 exhibitors will also be on site including 70 visual artists and 30 arts organizations.

Participating organizations include The Power Plant, Art Metropole, CanStage, OCAD, Toronto District School Board, Actra, Art Gallery of Ontario, Visual Arts Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, Inner City Angels, The Textile Museum of Canada, Kaeja d’Dance, TAPA and so many more.
