LOOP GALLERY - Call for submissions

Become a member of Loop Gallery!
Submit your proposal between October 1 and November 18, 2007.

Loop Gallery has been in operation as a collective of professional artists since December 2000.Located in the heart of the Queen West Gallery District, it was one of the founding galleries of this district that has witnessed the transformation of the area into one of the major cultural centers of the city.

Interested artists should prepare a package which contains the following:

a.A cover letter stating why you wish to join and how you hope to participate in our collective.
b.An artist's statement
c.A curriculum vitae
d.A cd containing 10 - 20 jpgs or a few short videos which demonstrates your artistic practice or define the direction your artwork is currently following. Please do not send any other format such as a website
e.A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) if you wish us to return your material.

NOTE: We are not accepting email submissions. Loop members pay monthly membership fees. More details are posted on our website: www.loopgallery.ca.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 18, 2007 by 4pm. Artists will be notified of their status by December 31, 2007.
