The Toronto Singapore Film Festival (TSFF) returns for its third consecutive year with award-winning Singaporean documentaries, features and shorts. First introduced in 2006 as an obscure one-day event, the festival has blossomed into a beautiful showcase for Singapore films. The 2008 event is now a three-day gala, boasting a diverse range of 23 films to whet the appetite of movie buffs, film geeks, and the general audience.

The quality of these Singaporean films is undisputed – 5 international premieres, 10 North American premieres, 4 Canadian premieres, and 2 Toronto premieres.

These films are also a meaningful representation of Singapore society – politics, education, economy, culture, all reflexively unfolded at the seams.
